Maternity Services
Our Birthing Suites are equipped with ensuites, telephone, tea and coffee facilities.
Patient rooms consist of single and shared accommodation with ensuites, television and telephone (single rooms are allocated according to medical need).
The Special Care Nursery is fully equipped to provide specialised care for your baby if required.
Community Midwife Program
The program encompasses individualised care throughout pregnancy, early labour and the postnatal period, in the woman’s home environment. Discharge from hospital is within 24 hours of birth and postnatal care is provided for up to 7 days.
Domiciliary Midwifery Service
Mildura Base Hospital has a Domiciliary Midwifery Service which is offerred to all new mothers to assist with the transition to home.

Breastfeeding & Parenting Support Service
Mildura Base Hospital provides a service for mothers who require assistance with:
