Community Rehabilitation Centre

Welcome to Mildura Base Hospital. Owned and operated by one of The Mildura Base Hospital's Community Rehabilitation Centre opened on the 1st of December, 2000. It was established within the existing Allied Health out-patient department. New therapy programs were added to those already established to enable rehabilitation patients to participate in a variety of individually tailored sessions and to be able to attend for the length of time and the frequency required to promote optimal recovery.

The emphasis has moved to a case managed, goal orientated, multidisciplinary program.

A Community Rehabilitation Centre provides a multidisciplinary rehabilitation service on an outpatient basis. The focus is on involving the clients in an active rehabilitation program with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team developing care plans and setting realistic goals.

There will be regular case conferences.
