Hydrotherapy Services

The new Mildura Base Hospital offers the Sunraysia community a very modern hydrotherapy pool, specifically to aid rehabilitation of a range of conditions. Trained staff will guide clients through specially designed activities appropriate to their needs.

Hydrotherapy services are provided by Physiotherapists to medically referred and assessed patients. The pool is not intended to be used for recreational use due to the strict infection control guidelines and medical screening procedures which are required to ensure safety standards are met at all times.

The Hydrotherapy pool is an essential element in the Community Rehabilitation Centre, with many of the interdisciplinary programs including a pool session.
