Bed Allocation & Single Rooms
At Mildura Base Hospital, there are only a limited number of single bed rooms. These are allocated according to medical need in the first instance. If you have elected to be a private patient with a single room we will accommodate your request based on room availability.

Mental Health Services
Mental Health Services offer a range of inpatient and community based programs for people with a serious mental illness who reside in the Northern Mallee Region.

Intensive Care Unit
The Unit has five (5) beds staffed and equipped to cater for the needs of patients requiring Intensive Care, Coronary Care or High Dependency services. We also have facilities which allow six (6) patients to be monitored on Telemetry in the general ward areas and cater for ventilated patients.

Medicine & Surgery
Mildura Base Hospital has two 24 bed units providing Medical and Surgical care.
Services are supported by 3 theatres, an endoscopy suite, a 16 bed day unit, a 9 chair dialysis unit, a 4 chair chemotherapy unit and an 18 bed rehabilitation and palliative care unit.
